The Platform 112

About the Artist

«Platform 112» is a coalition of artists Nastya Miro, Vsevolod Saplin, and composer Mikhail Myasoedov. Vsevolod Saplin is an artist who works in the technique of oil painting and creates incredibly textured and emotionally charged canvases. He refers to his painting style as Abstract Planerism. In 2015, Vsevolod, along with his friends Nikita Afanasyev and Nikolay Ryndin, formed the music group «Unforgiving Sunday.» In 2019, Vsevolod Saplin and artist Nastya Miro established the «Platform 112» collective and created short video studies for their exhibitions. Artist Nastya Miro works in the technique of tempera painting, creating realistic-style paintings. Since 2011, Nastya Miro has been actively involved in exhibition activities, showcasing her works in different cities and countries around the world. Nastya also regularly participates in Russian and international art fairs such as Cosmoscow, Art Moscow, Scope Miami, Scope New York, and Art Miami. In 2014, Nastya was a resident of the Gantanhao gallery. One of her most interesting series, «Bride for Buran,» is dedicated to Russian space exploration, specifically the «Energia-Buran» program. Currently, Nastya Miro, together with the Russian space corporation Roscosmos, the Foundation for Innovation Support, and the company Sputniks, plans to send art into space. A small octopus sculpture placed in a CubeSat will be sent into orbit. Mikhail Myasoedov (Brinstaar) is a composer and artist who works in the field of spatial sound compositions of natural and artificial origin. In his works, he explores the impact of sonic environments on perception, using both pure sound objects and complex systems that incorporate algorithmic and stochastic audiovisual elements.
